I too have been looking for pics, etc. on the early details of this junction/interlocker but, it seems, there is precious little out there.
I can say for sure that the tower was gone by 1960. At that time, the PRR, NYC was protected with dwarf signals controlled by BO and the NYC/GYW was protected by one of those signal masts with a beam on top with a lantern on each end. Normal was for the NYC. The GTW crew would have to manually move the beam to the GTW position and then realign it after going across. I don't remember which lantern position was for which route.
It seems that the junction only had one interchange track. It ran from southward on the PRR runner to southward on the LS&MS in the southwest quadrant.
