I definitely know I'm not the only one going through this though; in this era we live in, we're forced to put up with a system that works against the people, seemingly more than ever before. So many qualified and overqualified people have to settle for less in terms of work these days because companies are too cheap and lazy to train and groom their own prospects now; that's part of the problem at least. It doesn't make an iota of sense and is an eternal aggravation. All the hoops you have to jump through for some of the most basic or entry-level jobs is ludicrous and that includes the railroad.
I won't give up, thank you but the constant and inexplicable rejection for a job I know I can do, especially on paper, leaves a chip on my shoulder.
