I've seen it several times at this point, but it almost feels brand new watching with my baby. She loves L&L so much and she's soooo clueless about 99% of the story.
The parts of the story I did not know were the divorce paper drama and Lee burning them. That surprised me.
Also, interestingly enough, the lifestyle incompatibilities are showing up. I didn't realize those existed as early as 81; I thought that was a 90s invention. My wife noticed too. Laura keeps talking about settling down, wanting a house, the whole "normal" life, and Luke is trying to provide it but his restlessness is already showing up. He said he's fallen for the danger and adventure from the island, and both him and Robert are bonded in that thrill seeking. He's also turned down several good job offers because they're too typical, too normal. They also had talk of kids the night before the wedding, and Luke's reaction was...interesting.
It's amazing to me that my wife, with almost no history, is already making comments about how they'll be running into issues over all this.
