JV Ref Strikes

I'm not a part of either team. The 157 pound 4A match was great. The ref stopped it with a takedown at the most random time mid scramble. Please stop letting JV guys do finals matches.

I just finished watching that match and came straight here to see if anyone else was as disgusted as me . What a fucken travesty ,literally unreal . Neither one of those guys had any business reffing a match of that magnitude.

That guy was literally reffing our middle school match last week and struggling there. How he was one of the top officials is baffling. Wrestling coaches, please get out and help find more refs that know the sport. WIAA and ref associations, please put your best refs with our best wrestlers, they deserve it. That should not happen in a finals match.

How did the Bonney lake not get 1 single stalling call?this isn’t right ,they need to get Rid of these incompetent refs . For as much money as these greedy motherfuckers are making, you would think they would have the decency to hire legitimate refs.

4A 105 Girls Finals. WTF was the ref even doing. Glacier Peak girl behind big and secures a tight cradle. Ref doesn't even get to the mat for the first 15-20 seconds, and then when he does, what the hell is he looking at. Sunnyside wrestler was flat as a pancake!! That was a fall for a state title and it was flat our robbery! You have 2 refs on a mat and neither do their job. SAD, SAD, SAD!

I was standing mat side. First 20 seconds a shoulder was up. With fewer than 10 seconds left she adjusted and back was totally flat for at least five seconds. With the ref up on hands and knees where he couldn’t see.

I was mat side also and there was always daylight. Referee was in perfect position the entire time as video shows. He is on his knees until the shoulders get close and his face in on the mat when she gets really close. Sorry, but it was not a pin
