Running?

So let me get this straight. Kiyanno Zuniga isn’t going to wrestle Quentin? Did he get scared? All that trash talk for what? He knew he wouldn’t get that 4th title. Or did Quentin run from Zuniga??
Also same with justyce and AJ what happened there??

Maybe it was a team strategy to get more of their kids through districts and to state. Who cares why they are at different weights.

Who cares? No one—absolutely no one—except the Zunigas.
The so-called best wrestlers Washington has ever seen made a scene before and after the matches. They ran to social media, screaming and antagonizing self proclaimed to be the best (more like C.Miller 2.0), talking all that trash like they dominated Salguero and Harding. But when it came down to it, they ran. Now that’s funny. And somehow, they’ll still try to blame it on people “hating” Toppenish.

From the outside peaking in, its obvious that it was best for the teams state line up up. They are each taking 18+ to state and had to spread out their line up. This made the most sense for trying to win a team title. We are still in for a great match between Thomas and Zuniga at 132.

Not sure it is really "running" when you go from AJ to Thomas, especially when he already got the win against AJ in the dual.

132 2A final is going to be CRAZY!!! Especially if the team race is still in question (to be fair I don't think it will be. Orting is very deep and I think they will have it wrapped up by that point). But a lot of awesome, high tension, matches in the 2A finals

Let’s break it down. Kiyanno Villanueva could have gone 157, but when the brackets dropped, he wasn’t anywhere near Quentin. I think eating a humble pie against Chris made him just want to stick in his lane and quit talking nonsense. Same thing with Justyce. Barely beats Salguero in two matches, talks a big game, but when it came time to back it up, he moved away from AJ.

Again, this isn’t about what weight they chose. No one really cares. It’s about them running their mouths before and after matches when no one is even asking. If they truly wanted those matchups, they had every opportunity to make them happen. Instead, they shifted weights.

People can call it “team strategy” all they want, but the facts don’t lie. They ducked the toughest matchups and took a safer route. If you’re confident in your abilities and talk about it nonstop, you don’t avoid the smoke. You embrace it.

With that said 132 will be a great final, agreed.

I stand corrected. I don’t have a kid their weight, and never end up at tournaments with them, so I don’t know much about them. If they have been running their mouths Thats different. I could see why people are calling them out.
