Wow PAC Coast weight change poor communication

Welll,

I have not seen it all, but got closer today!

No communication!

Emails sent to coaches , not weight allowance

Then we show up and there’s a weight allowance

Hmmmm, did evergreen have some kids over ???

Or another close school that the tourney director is tight with

Many upset coaches , teams came to make scratch

And were told NO allowance!!!

What a joke!!!!!!!

Not coming back here again!

Are you the same OVER THE LINE poster about paying for parking? Sounds like with your mentality your kid would be better off playing basketball.

They literally told the teams a couple days ago there was a 2 pound allowance on day 1. Then they later sent out an update saying no weight allowance. Then the tournament director chose to make a 1 pound weight allowance the day of.
That is a problem.

It is a problem when the WIAA says you need to give 48 hours notice.

Agreed. For a higher level tournament, the 1, 2 or scratch weight can make all the difference in preparation and performance.

If teams wrestled the day before, then there would be an allowance. It's not up to the tournament director.
Sometimes teams don't communicate with the tournament director until the day of. Could this be the situation?

Not based on anyone wrestling the day prior

Perfect nobody wants a cry baby in the tournament anyways. If you think 2 lb is that big of a deal you are cutting more than you should. Get better!
