All the Girl's divisions have been unpdate and the 2A boys rankings

The most current rankings can always be found in the upper left hand column on the web site or by using the Rankings link at the top of the message board.

Dave G, who does the girls rankings? There is a girl that is now at Southridge (3a) but they have her ranked at another school/division (2a)

Just post the info here and they should see it. Still a number of kids/schools changing divisions and that will settle down by mid-December.

I understand the argument about having 1 champion, boys and girls but it's not reality and will never happen in Washington.
The WIAA looks at participation and it's obvious that girls wrestling is exploding. I've seen a noticeable jump in just the last 3 years (When they went from 1 division, to 2 divisions and now 3-4 divisions).
I coached middle school 30 years ago when there were only a few girls in the whole league. We've come a long ways and it will continue to grow which will make it more competitive.
I also think dual state will bring more girls to wrestling knowing they can be a part of something bigger even though individually they may not be as successful.

I appreciate your work in getting rankings out. They are fun to look at and compare. Couple things I notice, Shadle Park, Shelton, Enumclaw are all 3A teams now and I think Deer Park should be on there a lot more since they are now 2A.
