Can you smell what the Rock is cookin'? 1A rankings!

The pre-season 1A team and individual rankings have been posted and we have a new member on the team. His name is Mike Schmidt and we have known each other since the 90's when he was coaching with the Yak-Attack team and has since been involved in coaching high school teams and was the Head Coach at Yakima Valley CC before they cut the program. He has a lot of knowledge of the 1A scene and will provide us with unbiased and precise rankings. He has thick skin so make sure you post your opinions, and facts if you have any

, as he wants the rankings to be as accurate a reflection of the season as they can. Welcome aboard to Mike Schmidt.

What formula was used for team rankings?

Based on 6 man placing points Wapato 132 CR 122
Based on 8 man placing points Wapato 153 CR 152
Returning points from last year Wapato 88 CR 93

I think it will be much tighter than what you have posted right now.

Updated team rankings have Wapato increasing their lead and the individual rankings are last year’s final rankings.

Still doesn’t answer the question of what formula was used for team points. I used the formula on this website and it’s not even close to what is posted.

Just curious where the points are coming from.

As I said, that is the formula I used to come up with the numbers in my first post. They are not close to the same as what the ranker posted for team rankings.

The 1A rankings are still in process but were correcteed today

We were having some techinical issues with the 1A spreadsheets but we made some progress today and I have posted corrected individual rankings. We spent a lot to time on the phone today going over technical issues and we got that far. We will talk later this week and see about getting the team rankings matrix in place. ETA in unknown at this time.

Does this mean that the 2a,3a, and 4a rankings are also in the works?

They are in the works. No definitive ETA but uually by Dec 1st.
