It's extremely refreshing to see a mature adult wrestler who just grinds it out without constant social media posts and self-promotion. Washington state is proud to stand behind her with support and admiration.

If you followed her on social media, her reflections, her perception and her motivation is inspiring. You can’t help but to root for her. She is good people, someone you want to impact your journey. Get it Emma!!

Best "female" wrestler? How about the best Wrestler out of Washington period? You don't see ANY WA boys at the same level in their sport that she is.

Easy now,,,there's levels man. She is gr8, best WA girl wrestler in my opinion to come out of WA.... but to imply woman's wrestling is same category as men's, skill set wise its not even close. Not even close my man.

Did you hear me say girls are better than boys? No- obviously she would get whipped by any boy. But the girls wrestling in WA take it a lot more serious than the boys do and actually believe they can do something in wrestling while the best boys never move on because “college is too hard”.

College is to hard the boys say? Girls take it more serios? Lol.... Mens college is a monster - grades, ridiculous weight cuts, injury after injury, best in the rooms constantly battling, travel, zero sleep. Ladies hav a studd or 2 only, and very little competition to make starting squad or to AA.

You're right, there is so much more that the boys have to deal with than the girls. The difference is the girls still try. WA has sooo many boys state champs, sometimes 2, 3, or 4 time champs that never even try to make a D1 spot in college - because it's too hard!

Emma just won the silver medal at the Senior Worlds Championships which makes her the current "best wrestler" from Washington state!
