5 Timer

With there being a handful of 8th graders making the state tournament it has to be asked if we will ever see a 5x State champ or even a 5x state placer?

There have been a handful of kids who definitely could’ve placed and maybe even won over the years when they were in 8th grade. So I think it will happen.

I would of swore in 2020 or 2019 Washington had its first 5 time placer.

There has been a handful of 8th graders that placed but seems like they don't place as 9th graders. If there is a name you're thinking, I'll double check.

Bryan Dickerson will likely become a 5xer... assuming he places this year and next, he will become a 4x WA state placer and 1x Colorado state placer. He went to Colorado and wrestled due to WA not having a state tourney in 2021. Otherwise all 5 would be in Washington.

Not all in Washington.
If you count those then Gary Witherspoon would be Washington's first 5x'er.
1st,2nd - New Mexico
1st - Colorado
1st,1st - Washington
