Isaiah Anderson

Anyone have an update at Oregon State? Doesn’t look like he made the lineup - curious if he’s expected to break into the lineup next year or in a few years. Would love to see him wrestle!

I think he red shirted this year and wrestled open tournaments. He won the Eastern Oregon open.

I saw him on their site. He has cut to 174. Redshirt from what I hear.

He looks to be doing good, looks good at his new weight and should be a valuable asset in the years to come at OSU!

Totally different style of wrestling at 170 not sure it was a good move to cut all that weight.

OSU is the big time. They are loaded at 184-197 for the few years so maybe that’s why. 174 will always have quick studs. Hope for the best .

People always have a hard time conceptualizing how hard D1 is. The Beavers/Pendelton seem to know what they are doing. I would trust in the coaches and reevaluate it after the season is over.

Isaiah was a very short compact 195 in highschool and a legit wrestler, he did have surgery on his shoulder but that was last year. He has recovered from what I have seen and just redshirting this season. You guys will eventually see him out for the Beavers I am sure. As for Darion, he is killing it for Western Wyoming!
