Cool Event Happening at PLU 1/17- MS/HS and College

The Franklin Pierce School District and PLU have worked together to put on a pretty cool event on Tuesday 1/17. Franklin Pierce HS will be taking on Washington HS while their feeder middle schools Ford and Keithley will be having their rivalry match right beside them on a second mat.

PLU will be wrestling college matches against two other colleges throughout the night as well.

Male and Female Middle School, High School, and College matches all taking place in one spot and it is all FREE to fans!!! Come out and support wrestling in the south sound!

Big thanks to Kyle Foster for getting this thought up, FPSD for making it work, and PLU for hosting it and making it free for fans to support wrestling as they continue to work toward full varsity status as a college program.

Wrestling Starts at 5pm

Yes go to Ncwa.net there are alot of teams in Washington. PLU, WSU, UW, Grays Harbor, Western, Central, and Big Bend. They are all club teams though if you go to the team section on the website you will see there are d1 and d2 teams. d1 NCWA teams are scholarship/athletic department schools that are supported by the school. Others are d2 which are student-run and might have a coach that volunteers their time. The d2 team also have to fundraiser just about everything.
