25 year old looking to wrestle

Am I even able to wrestle at any sort of tournaments being 25?

Also looking for a place to train.. been out of the sport for many years now.

And i've missed the sport ever since I left it.

Any help would mean a lot, need some direction if possible.

I remember the name. Cedercrest HS? Anyway, I saw something today about adult wrestling at Fitness Quest in Auburn. Check out their website and give them a call.

I know it’s not wrestling but bjj is really similar and more popular for adults to compete in if they aren’t an elite wrestler

There are plenty of open freestyle tournaments in the spring to wrestle, you may wrestle the same guy three times but it’s a lot of fun even when you are getting your tail handed to you but a 45 year old dentist

lmao I hear you. I'm all for it. I looked at some tournaments but didn't seem like my age group was allowed. (25 years old)

if I knew which tournaments to sign up for ill sign up right now.

You can compete in folkstyle open tournaments too. Linfield Open is this weekend and the Boxer Open is next weekend. Plenty of competition. What area are you in?

Last spring we had over half our club that were current college and adult aged wrestlers. Send me your contact and I can send you some more info.

NJCAA has no eligibility clock or age limit.

You can wrestle at any of the college opens unattached. I know you can't wrestle in the NCWA ones. I saw you're in Kirkland, maybe reach out to the UW club team and see if you can help them/volunteer. I dont think there's any for the rest of the school year. You could also look at going to freestyle tournaments.
