What is the new weight allowance for post season?

New growth allowance rule is after the first of the year weight classes go up two lbs. there will not be additional weight jump for postseason

Thank you for the answer. I assume that a 1 lb allowance still applies on the 2nd day of a 2 day post season tournament

Correct and 2 for 3 consecutive days.

ie. 120 (122 scratch), 123 day 2 & 124 day 3.

Crazy question: how or why would an athlete gain weight while participating in a tournament? I remember starving.

Because they cut weight the night before the tourney then proceed to drink water, eat some food, etc. after weigh-in.
