Trashiest Track Profile

So in my boredom I have enjoyed browsing track wrestling and seeing how trashy some profiles are when they are customized by athletes and parents. What are your cool finds? I think kids and parents who put nicknames in the profile like 12 gauge or Lil Evil is pretty white trash. What about the accomplishment section where people list their bench press, or 9 year old girls who are already 3 time national champs and 9x all Americans counting all the Nuway events they have entered with 3 person brackets. What are your favorites?

But unfortunately he's not posting his name. If he has an issue with a dad or one of these kids he should post his real name so it can be resolved.

I think he’s trying to give them some good advice. Pretty juvenile. There have been a lot of better wrestlers, 4 timers, that did not want the kind of attention that a nickname would give them. But I guess when you wrestle in the lowest classification you’ll take any attention you can get

Isnt the kid I think you talking about a four time Fargo all American or champion? I know he won state twice and a number of national things. If so I don't think he need a name for attention I think he earned it

My daughter goes by Addi-Gator and i once threw the gator after her name and it did print out on bracket, but it made finding her actual profile difficult so I removed it. Was sweet looking at the rolling mat assignment screen and seeing a little green gator... i just did it for fun , i don't list her accomplishments like some parents do. I figure they can scroll through track and see accomplishments anyway

spot on...I remember looking at my bracket in Vegas way back in the 80s and thinking who is this Erik Akin loser from Kansas.... 2 matches later..."who is this Buxton hick from North Dakota" One thing for sure, is that I wasn't beat before the match...I let that happen on the mat!

There's a video from Bryce Meredith talking about what your complaining about and I tell you what, he disagrees with you. May not be yours or my thing, but it works for some.
Didn't 12gauge just commit to D1 Westpoint I heard? That's pretty incredible if you ask me. What have you or your kid done? Might want to think about that before your so quick to judge

work like hell
and advertise!

I think you could apply that to everything we do when you want to succeed. The winnings go to those reach for it. Wrestling is no different. JMHO
