Now that the rules allow 6 matches in one day....

Will the WIAA make the state wrestling tournament a one day affair?

Lets just pray to the wrestling gods we have a season this year! And state will remain a 2 day tournament.

If they split the classifications you could but no way with all in the Dome. I like the 2 day tourney.

What if it was still a two day tournament, but it was split up where half the divisions competed on day one and the other half competed on day two?

The WIAA is meeting this weekend and is likely going to follow the NFHS guidelines to return to play post Covid-19 and that likely means no 2020-2021 wrestling season.

We might just be seeing the end of High School athletics for a while.

It seems that every thread discussing the upcoming wrestling season eventually leads to the comment that we probably won't have a season anyway. I get it. We may not have a season, but the fact that threads about wrestling keep appearing on this site shows how most people don't see any reason not to go about our lives. Common sense leads us to see that this is not a pandemic but a fraud. If it was a true emergency we would intuitively realize the threat and focus on that threat. Without a real threat, we talk about wrestling and naturally plan for the season.

The facts show this virus is being blown way out of proportion by the lying media and lying democommies, to try and bring down Trump. PERIOD and the numbers prove it. Now they are finding, 1/4 of all deaths blamed on the virus were in fact caused by something else. Just like the riots, all of a sudden it is Trumps fault, when in fact he has passed more bills helping the black community than ANY president in history....

Yes, it is a shame to lose a wrestling season for political reason and lies. The lying media and politicians care more about power than the people. They don't care if we want a wrestling season or to freely go about our business. On the topic of the state tournament. I like the 2 day tournament and want to keep it that way. The 6 matches in a day limit is useful for getting a district tournament done in a day, but not for compressing state into one day.

Trump is in charge, this thing is his baby. He could’ve got on it in January but he went golfing a dozen times instead. He could have shut down all travel from China (his shutdown still allowed over 40,000 people in) and Europe (where people came in from China through the back door). The dude is a pedophile and a clown. He speaks at a 3rd grade level and manages crisis like someone with dementia, which I’m starting to think he has.

Yes, the media is blowing this out of proportion, and yes, we should come out of hiding and get back to real life, but to not call out this guy for his complete lack of leadership he’s displayed. Even if I happen to agree with much of what he says, this guy could screw up a cup of coffee. I’m not voting for him again. I’m not getting burned twice. If we’d had anyone else, and R or any D as president the last 5 months I am confident we’d still have wrestling next year.

Get off the message board Jay Inslee. Again with the reverse narratives. Everything your trying to blame Trump of, Obama and Biden are ten times more guilty of. FACTS! No other candidate gives a crap about wrestling or any part of our lives, or you’d here them fighting for your rights. Attleast Trump was a wrestler, and a team captain at that.
