My hero Gov Inslee

Thank you so much Government Inslee for allowing me to go fishing again. It's just one of those hard risky decisions that someone brilliant like you has to make. My grandpa is 70 years old and is very vulnerable. He thinks just because he hikes 8 or 10 miles a day he's healthy and is not at risk. Thank god you know more than he does about his own well being and thank you for keeping him alive. I love wrestling but if you don't allow me to wrestle this winter I completely understand. I've seen the statistics and realize that 99.99% of the people who die from this deadly virus have serious underlying health problems. That means if I get it I could have a .001 chance of dying. Again thank you so much for keeping us safe.

Jay Inslees proclamations are for the most part a joke!There are so many people ignoring the stay @ home bull crap its laughable.People know they won't be arrested or even told to move along.This past wknd there were hundreds of people out camping,shooting 4 wheeling near where i live.I know some business owners who would like to reopen but they are more afraid of a backlash and becoming a pariah to the community than afraid of idiot Jay Inslee.Just hope we can wrestle next season and still don't actually know anyone who has died from covid19.

Don't be stupid...we've already lost freestyle and greco season do you really want to lose the HS Season.

Schools hopefully will open on time in September and we will not freak out when cases start popping up.

But do the math Say a a 4A sized HS has 1500 kids, Kid 0 sits in his class infecting 15 of 30 kids, those 15 infect 15 of 30 in their next class (that's 90) they go to another class and ect...School aged kids have less or no symptoms soon we have 1500 kids going into the community.

Yes the GOV's restrictions are ridiculous at this point but reopening fully is just as bad.

Start with opening with Social Distancing and move forward, do it by individual communities! Wilbur is going to open differently than Bellingham.

And for the love of God start washing your hands!

If you use something called common sense,all this lockdown has done is spread this out over a longer time frame.It has prevented a development of herd immunity.If you are a healthy school age child you will probably have no symptoms,other people may or may not have symptoms.If you are in good health and under the age of 60 your chance of dying is very small.
Why is it so hard for people to understand that the elderly and those with underlying health conditions are @ a higher risk and should be protected.
BTW Dr. Fauci the cdc guru who is 80 years old said going forward that we should no longer shake people's hands but its ok to have sex with someone you meet on Tinder.These are the people who are teliing our leaders what to do....

There aren't enough COVID cases to keep doctors busy in MOST hospitals. Some hospitals are slammed. Your dreaming they will lose their minds and so might start on time but it will be shut down mid October. Be prepared for no wrestling this high school season.

Be prepared for No wrestling forever if current Governors are allowed to be in control. They are taking down America people! Wake the f up. The plan was not to stop the virus, it was to slow it down until we lowered the curve and let resourses catch up. They know if we do not have natural herd immunity, it will come back in the fall. This was a first round practice run. If you or a loved one is afraid, or has a compromised immune system, STAY HOME. Good luck paying your bills and feeding your family when the welfare runs out. Armed protesters in Michigan State Capital. People are starting to wake up and I believe will put an end to all this propaganda bullshit. That's what it's going to take. Fact is more people will die trying to save a few with bad health problems. And in the mean time bankrupting 2/3 of our population. And all this money the government is handing out. Where in the hell is that money coming from. I thought this country was already trillions in debt.

So what I don’t get is that we lead the WORLD in cases and deaths! We are not a third world country! We are supposed to have the best everything!! We just aren’t disciplined!! Guess what a champions mentality does not need to be in a wrestling room or at a tournament right now. The heart of a champion will keep as sharp as he/she can do be ready for the whistle. If you are struggling with this mentality probably not as good as you think.

All you have to do my friend "really" is look at all the statistics and facts, not just the garbage you hear from the media, and you will plainly see real truth. 99.99% of the deaths are people with serious health problems. 88% of those have 2 or more. They're just dragging it out so it will go on for ever. Like any flu virus, get it once and you're done with it forever. Everybody staying isolated is just messing with you immune system. And yes, it will come back this winter. Never ending.

That’s the epitome of mental toughness. 600 dollars a week on top of your state unemployment? Some people are taking 1200-1300 bucks a week home! If they don’t seem like enough, go get an essential job and pay your bills. They are hiring right now until you can go back. Is it the ideal situation? No it’s not I agree 100%. But like we say in wrestling, every move has a counter....so does life buddy! Good luck and stay safe! It’s all about adjusting your attitude! Wrestlers have to do it all the time. This is the easiest time to qualify! Covid reason gives you access if you have a certain number of hours in a years time. Don’t be lazy!! You’re going to have to be on the phone a long time and it’s probably not going to be smooth process. If you don’t qualify there’s a lot of work in the fields. Exactly the point,and it's a moment in time that none of us will never get back.Including H.S. wrestlers,not sure if you are actually going to be wrestling @ the next level but watch and see how many collegiate wrestling programs are axed in the next couple yrs.Especially if they aren't allowed to play football next season.Maybe the grandparents should have just stayed home?

Do the math Einstein it's probably less than 1%.Out of the thousands of H.S wrestling programs in the usa with say a roster size of 20-30 wrestlers and then contrast that with less than 500 collegiate/club programs with a roster of 15-20 even you can do the math.

The. They are not wrestlers. They are just someone looking for something to do. Don’t count the dudes that just wear the singlet. Count the ones that have college aspirations. They are a different breed. 20-30 in the room? You are counting Jv, the fat kid that friends pressures because they wanted to fill the weight, the kid that parents make turn out, they hav no desire to wrestle next level.... use data of those that do and qualify with grades, and other factors. If you use those instead of everyone that breathes, it’s not 99 dude!

Don’t argue with idiots. They really don’t know the game. I had teammates that were really good and had no desire to wrestle college. I had teammates that were really good and they did t have the grades. I totally agree with you. Not many get scholarships, and think they can’t wrestle.

For the safety of the members of our community i was on board with Jay even though this would cause hardship on my family. But after going to Costco today with my mask accompanied by my wife and her mask... We encountered Singh's that said two people per membership card familys with 5-6 kids per card were in the store a hell of alot of people with out mask no social distancing the place was a ZOO! After 10 minutes we left so my question to Jay would be what the hell is the difference between 500 people at the Costco and 11 people at work. If there is nobody in the community following the rules how the hell is this working its not. Time to let people get there selves back to work and let this play out. And of course relect a govner who is going to fallow through with what he/she says.

Once you start pulling stats out of your ass, your argument has no validity. It is a high number, but not 99% 64000 deaths by your stats 63,360 are old and sick. Not true bud! As far as the media, they are getting their data from John Hopkins. They are they are legit. It’s not like a political poll where everyone has their source. The White House gets it from John Hopkins too.

I'm going to pull some more facts out of my ass. Between 40000 and 56000 people die annually from the flu. 40000 die annually from car accidents. 5000 die from work accidents. 4000 from drowning. These fact may stink but they are facts never the less. That's 110000 we could possibly save by shutting down the country completely, but where would you draw the line? What exactly would you be willing to sacrifice to save some of these lives. Lets hear it.

So Americans put their grandparents in nursing homes to rot and now use them as an excuse to shut everything down. Just think about what we are giving up. You have eliminated freedom to protect the elderly that you could still do by keeping the economy going while isolating the elderly. It's not mutually exclusive. You could still have an economy while protecting people. Shutting everything down is way too extreme and overkill.

2.Are you a so called essential worker and still collecting a paycheck?

Yeah Jay Inslee can suspend many freedoms that most of us take for granted.Sending your kids to school, going to work to support our families,being unable to acccess public lands, parks,going to church,hunting and fishing,public assembly,etc,etc

Is the cure worse than the disease?Worldwide more people will die as a direct result of poverty than Covid 19.And it will get worse with the world economy in a depression.But obviously you don't pray about all the people who will die from poverty while you drive around in your 50k Ram diesel 4x4?Right now we are looking @ minimum of 10 weeks lockdown time and you have no idea when your kids will be able to wrestle again? If nobody's taken my freedom away, that would mean I would be able to go to work and pay my bills. But that's not the case now is it. Every one of you guys that are all for this government control are undoubtedly drawing a weekly pay check, probably more than you would if you were on the job. And if you think everyone is getting handouts you're wrong. I know it's hard for you to believe, but some are going hungry because of this so called pandemic. If the people who can't take care of themselves let the government do it for them. let the rest of us take care of ourselves, period.

Do you really think everyone is for government control? This has to do with keeping everyone safe for a short window. They have things in place for people to pay bills. You want to take care of yourself by risking hurting someone else. Don't cap on the people that are still working, they made a career choice that works in this situation. Haven't seen anyone going hungry in a month. If they are, are country was really not in as good a place as our leaders said it was. And BTW, this thing about losing all the crops, that's the embargo in place more than the pandemic. Remember? Farmer's were going to feel it? Should be mad more at that!!

Maybe a wrestler would face it head on instead of cowering in his house waiting for a government bailout check.

The question was, and is, how far would you be willing to go to here to save lives. Would you be willing for your family to go hungry? What if one of your kids had cancer but couldn't get treatment. That sort of thing is happening as we speak. If you don't believe that you haven't been paying attention. Millions of Americans have died fighting for our freedom and now we're just pissing it away. Freedom means being able to take care of yourself and your family the way you see fit. Believe it or not, I know more about my well being than Inslee or any other politician. Let the government take care of those of you who can't do it on your own.

100% agree Huh. We may know more about our own families, but we don't know very much about other families. What amazes me is that we haven't been in "lockdown" very long, and a lot of people are not patient. They said at the very beginning it could go until August. I guess no one took it seriously. It is also obvious that we took for granted how good we had it, because if it had been that good, people's rainy day account would have them going for more than a month and a half. I guess the question I have is this? So lets say when we get back to normal and businesses open, do we think that consumer confidence is going to let it get back to the way it was? My opinion is no. The small business owner is going to lose more money because now he has his operating expenses and the confidence of people feeling safe is still going to be there. Now he really is going to lose money. I would be reading the writing on the wall.

Well, I don't believe things are going to get back to normal by August, Sept. Oct. or who knows when. I'm betting there will be no school, at for the first half. I'm sure you've heard them talk about the "new" normal. That could be exactly where all this is headed. After all, this is exactly what the dems campaigned on. Government control. "Don't worry, we'll take care of you, free everything. Trouble is, our government is BROKE. All these handouts are,believe it or not, barrowed money from who else but our #1 enemy, China.

Actually I am a physical therapist with 2 boys who wrestle.Haven't been able to provide therapies in person for about 6 weeks.Just got my 3rd unemployment check.Hopefully be able to work in a few weeks? Not capping on anybody's profession only responding to the post that said that those who Gov Inslee deemed essential had made good career choices.Which is also what I thought I had done as well.And yeah I work just as hard as you....
