I think some of those Cali wrestlers are way over ranked. There is some bias there.

The last time L.S. went to a toury in Cali, their FOUR TIME state champion got manhandled in a medium level toury and he took FIFTH place... No way can WA state even hang with the BEST Ca kids and that is a fact. Keep in mind after wrestling season a ton of their champs go on to play OTHER SPORTS because good athletes play MANY different sports.

The last time Lake Stevens went to a California tournament (or a toury in Cali as you wrote) was last year....Lake Stevens took second as a team...the previous two years Lake Stevens won both tournaments they attended in California....your information is wrong... by the way the "Four timer" you speak of took 5th in the Doc B, arguably the toughest tournament west of the Mississippi....the prior time they attended, LS had a champ in Cody Vigoren....not too many teams in WA, let alone west of the Mississippi, can say they have a champ....just wanted to help put your "facts"...

Also, Toppenish has done fantastic at the Zinkin tourney, a very tough Cali tourney....dont down play our top WA kids....they can bang with anyone!
