Garza originally was from Royal. She began under Royal little guy's program while former coach Scott Robins, Carlos Villa and her uncles helped coach the program. Family planned for her to attend Royal whether she wrestled or not. Royal has a great community and school district for any child's upbringing. Parents made the move in the summer when neither Moses or Royal had coaching positions filled. Parent felt it was a better fit for their daughter to attend Royal for her education. Thr fact that she gets to compete along with friends and her cousin currently on the team is a bonus.
