As we approach the high school Wrestling season the rankings are something have always been presented in December, and we plan to continue again this year. We do have rankers in place for several divisions but we've had some changes and I have a number of divisions that need somebody to step up and take on the responsibility of doing the rankings.

In the Girls division we need a person to do the All-Class rankings, and also someone for the 4A division. 1A, 2A and 3A are all in place.

In the Boys division we need an All-Class Ranker, as well as 3A and 2A. The 4A, 1A and B are all in place.

What is required to be a ranker is a person who is passionate about Washington High School wrestling and very knowledgeable about all the wrestlers. You need to be able to work a spreadsheet properly and format it in the manner that I will give to you in a template. We also need those people to pay diligent attention to the results each weekend from tournaments and other information they may gather off of the message board or websites. Being objective and unbiased is paramount.

The rankings on this site had been going on for 20 plus years, and it is always a community project where people work in that area for a while, and then need to move on and another person steps in to take their place. Kind of like the Seahawks football team, and it's time for the "next man up" in several divisions.
