I am sorry peeps but you guys that think state was watered down are idiots!!! First round "may not" have been as tough although some weights/classifications had state placers wrestling kids that lost in the blood round.


This format has done exactly what it was meant to do, it has gotten the kids that deserve a chance at a medal there and still wrestling late on day one and yes of course it let in some with absolutely horrific records but in the end most of those kids were coming from what use to be weak regions in the old format while those kids that should be there in the tough regions had to stay home.


How about this, you guys stay home until about 3:30-4:00 on day one so you don't have to feel all weird watching some of those lower level kids wrestle and you can just show up to watch the qtrs, and blood round and see how many of those kids deserve to be there but may not have with the regional format.


Just take an uber because we all know there won't be anywhere to park lol
