He didn't volunteer. I talked him into doing it because NO ONE volunteered for 2A. I have had probably 5 different 2A rankers over the past 2 years! Two years ago I had 2-3 that season and the last one disappeared after districts. Humint One had the gumption to not only finish the 4A and 3A leading into state also did the final rankings for 2A going into state. BTW, The 2A rankings were updated late last night!

This year Humint One has been dealing with issues and has not been able to be the rock that he has been for the past 8 years or so. As a result, the 4A and 3A boys have not been updated in 3 weeks, but that is just the way it goes. We can't control everything that happens to us.

I was supposed to ref the Mat Classic last year but I missed the whole season of officiating while recovering from shoulder surgery. I was supposed to ref again at the Mat Classic this year but had to quit reffing after the Lake Steven's girls tournament in December. I was hoping that 2-3 weeks off over the holidays might allow me to heal up but I was wrong. I was suppose to be the Head Official at the Lake Stevens Invite in mid-January but had to cancel out 3 days before and have not reffed since. There were two of us out with injuries and that put us into a scramble to come up with enough qualified refs for the Mat Classic and the district tournaments, but they figured it out.

I haven't skied since early December and that REALLY sucks as I usually ski with the "Old Retired Guys Ski Club" 35 times a year. I hope that everyone understands the work required to do the rankings and the work required to manage the web site. None of this is easy for me or the rankers. Please give some love to the rankers for all the do and have done.

PS: Boys B, 1A and 2A all have updated rankings. All the Girl's divisions have also been updated. We generally only do the All-Class rankings at the state meet as everyone is focusing on their own division up until then. Also, the All-Class rankings is the absolute hardest to keep filled. I did it myself for the first 10 years or so of the rankings and have had a multitude of various ones since then. Some did well but many quit 2-3 weeks in when they found out that it is a lot of work to get it right.
