It is much harder to transfer now than it was 20 or 30 years ago. All you had to do back in the day was file for a boundary exception and you didn't have to sit out a year of eligibility. Now you have to show proof of living in the boundary. Your correct that starting next year will be a game changer, I personally don't have a problem with it, but I get the opposing view as well. I'm sure there are a few transfers to those schools, winners want to be with winners.
