I understand your process. I don't have much stock in the early pre-season rankings because a large percentage of the kids are not even at the same weight. Rankings will take shape a week or two into the season. As far as freshmen go, I think I can confidently make a couple predections. The following freshmen will be state champions this year and will be a force to rekon with in the state of Washington:

1.Brycen Dawley(Fargo all american, on big board for 2024-25 freshman nationally) -state champ at 113 or 120 whatever weight he chooses to go
2.Lazarus McEwen(fargo all american, pre-season national champ, ranked 12th in the nation at HS 106 currently)- 3a state champ at 106
3.Nery Rivas: 2a 106 state champ
4. Arcadius Cruz: 2a 113# state champ
5. Adrian Windsor: 3a 113 or 120# state champ whichever weight he chooses to go
