Yeah evergreen is a place where competitive spirit went to die. No grades, kids make their own classes and curriculum. It’s crazy that of all colleges in Washington, evergreen wants a program. Wrestling doesn’t check any box on what that university is about. Of course a head coach will get some heat when this has been reoccurring problem, it’s delusional to think otherwise. Multiple ccc schools, which is there conference have vowed to never schedule them again. Doing more harm than good to the perception of Washington wrestling. It’s pathetic and embarrassing, more importantly just wrong to do this to all the people, coaches and volunteers who put so much time into this event. At some level it has to be the coach. You don’t cancel multiple duals like this day of. Sounds highly unorganized. I agree it is probably an ad problem as well. Quit whining, making excuses, lying and just show up and wrestle or fold the program at this point. Corbin when they got going didn’t pull this crap. Full cultural incompetence from the top down, you give me a break?!
