I am curious as to if you guys felt the State Tournament in 2018-2019 was watered down? This was the year we went to 32 team due to "harsh" winter closing down many schools for almost the entire week of regionals. I honestly felt like this was one of my favorite tournaments at the dome. My overall takeaway was not "man that was watered down" at all, if anything I remember leaving day one thinking about how many awesome matches we got to see earlier in the tournament. I dont remember hearing the watered down narrative at the time, though it may have been around, I just dont remember it after the tournament.

For reference, I was in 4A at the time and these are the placers. Definitely seem just as tough as any other year and some of the weights are absolutely stacked- The match between Michalski and Yacapin is my all time favorite match from the Dome and everything that happened at 138 at the dome that year was so fun to watch
