Coaching does matter. My opinion when looking for a club,is what are the goals you as a parent and athlete have? What has the coaching staff accomplished in the sport themselves? Who have they produced? Are they trying to recruit your kid, why? We have some clubs that are decent little kids clubs but around the time of middle school you start to see the kids hitting plateaus. Don't be afraid to leave, the only loyalty you as a parent should have is to your kid.
