When Dollamur first came out with the new mats around 2008-1010, I hated them. The texture was too rough, so you couldn't shoot without getting your skin stuck and causing mat burn. Additionally, all the tape needed created an inconsistent surfact

Since then, the surface has improved significantly and their adhesive system really is pretty good. The foam really is softer on the joints for old farts like me and if I ref on an olf Resilite... it feels like a rock.

I hated the idea of change, but I've come around. The new mats are superior.

Plus, it doesn't take 20+ kids to get one from the mat room to the gym anymore.
