Sir you absolutely do not know what you are talking about. Of course every D1 program has walk on’s. I know some of these mentioned are walk on’s. I know of one guy that was offered a 1000 bucks for a scholarship after his 2nd year. Oregon State has 47 Wrestlers on their roster. They do not have money to cover scholarships for that many. Kids can shoot for Academic plus local help from their hometown, but that is not erasing the fact that they are walk on’s.
