As a state, as the years go on, it will not improve until we get college wrestling going. The overall level of coaching in our state is not the same as these other states. Few of our programs have coaches that even wrestled in college. Our best kids rarely work together as their Dads know better and their club coach is worried they will leave. It won't be "fixed" anytime soon. Got to do the best with what we have. Girls will see a drop too. Other states are adding women's wrestling. We were great when we were one of the only states with women's wrestling.

With that, the kids that went worked their tails off and should hold their heads high. Keep working, lots of great wrestling ahead and now you know where you stand.
