Hate to say it, but that's a procedural rule that falls on the coaches and tournament committee to count. I certainly don't keep track of how many times each kid has wrestled! Just as it's not my responsibility to track number of outings or season match count.
However, I actually did know that the rule changed here :D
I'm encouraged, but curious how the foot as a supporting point will be interpreted by the powers that be. There are a lot of rules that take a few years to get figured out properly (remember the whole "knees on/off the mat" debacle or the "referee position starting sequence" or even "definition of foot on/over the line"?).
Hopefully they keep it simple and easy for the casual observer to understand.
Also, glad they finally stopped caring about facial hair. If someone wants a magnificently frothy beard, who am I to say no?
