I don’t think recommending that a good candidate might need more than $200 per week is bad thing. Long term wise if you invest in something, you will have a better chance for success and sustainability. If they simply want to have a team so they can get 20 kids and their tuition money, no problem. If you want longterm growth , success and bigger numbers, I’d say pay a bit more and get in the NJCAA first. May be two different coaches. The guy you hire to be the club coach and the coach once it becomes varsity May be different people.
