The AD has come on here and stated that they want to build a wrestling program but they need a "wrestling person" to lead it. They are looking for someone interested in leading that advancement and also looking for wrestlers to fill the roster. Wrestling is not in a position of strength that they can dictate to colleges to build the program for them. Wrestling needs to lead the charge if there is truly a interest in wrestling beyond high school. If the interest is there it sounds like this school is willing to work growing a competitive program. I don't think he was asking for input on how to do his job. I think he was asking the wrestling community whether there is the interest to grow a program. Not easy in this day and age.
