Wrestling isn't the only sport. Some sports primarily participate in league play.

As a parent, I would NOT be happy if every away competition/league event required a 6+ hour round trip.

If I were a school administrator, I would not be happy for my students to miss that much school time just to travel.

I also would not be thrilled with the fuel costs/ vehicle wear and tear to routinely travel that far.

I am aware this is a wrestling board...but the kids are STUDENTS first.
