I'm not sure how healthy Johnson was going into the finals match, but let's look at the facts. Johnson sat out the entire season until Districts after her injury. The injury was pretty serious from what I've been hearing, but that's between her and her coaches and family. The Curtis girl won fair and square and didn't do anything malicious to injure her in the finals. But, let's not overlook the fact that Johnson is a multiple time all-american and undefeated state championship last year. She is one of the best female wrestlers in WA, regardless of weight class. Her coming back after her injury was most likely for her team, not individual accolades. She walks through another state title if healthy.
