Are you afraid of your kid losing? Don't teach your kid to be a coward. Teach him to work hard and invite competition. We're fortunate to get to bring a storied program into our state. My sons had great matches with Hermiston kids over their high school careers, winning most, but losing some too. They became better wrestlers because of it.
