Experienced refs (BTB) or others:

Would this rule be interpreted differently if a disputed call at the end of regulation had the possibility of sending a match to overtime?

Say it was 2-0, and a disputed takedown could send it to overtime. Does that change things? My interpretation of the SPIRIT of the rule would say no. But a clarification would be great since we’re on the subject.
