Been screaming it for years, and WIAA has ALMOST stumbled upon it by accident with the girls.

Run 2 boys tournaments… a 4A/3A and a 2A/1A/B. Minimum 32 man brackets. (You could adjust bracket size to some degree as needed).

The main difference…is you still award TEAM trophies for each classification. So the B champs might be the 3rd or 4th highest scoring team in the small school tourney…but as the highest scoring B school, they would be the B champs.
But, maybe the B champs are the top scorer in that tournament…then everyone knows how good they really are.

Why is this so hard for WIAA to grasp?
