Now look at the match. Chichenoff had Curry’s leg trapped OUTSIDE his thigh. Bright green anklet sitting high on his hip right in front of the camera. The leg wasn’t even inside chichenoff’s legs much less hooked over as your picture clearly demonstrates.

It’s just not a call a ref should ever miss! Perhaps missed if leg were trapped inside his legs and not yet hooked (still wrong), but never when the leg is outside the legs. The call put the wrong wrestler in the finals and will hopefully be used as a training example for refs so they are sure of a call before it’s made.
