16 schools with smaller enrollments than Toppenish opted up to move from 2A to 3A. Toppenish preferred to not to petition; instead moved the entire sports program to 1A. Even with the school lunch calculation they are one of the largest 1A programs.

The school could have opted up or down but chose not to do so. Not a big deal...
