In my last match of the evening this past weekend, two 285's from the same team were wrestling each other for 3rd and 4th. It was pretty obvious from the get-go that neither were taking the match super seriously (basically every "takedown" attempt turned into a roll through back to their feet or out of bounds) and the first round ended 0-0.

Between the first and second round, their coach (who, by the way, is one who enjoys his chirping at the refs from the corner) approached the table with his hand up. I walked over, asked if he was requesting a conference, and he said, "Yes. By rule, stalling should be called."

I was confused, as why is he risking a coach misconduct in a match that doesn't matter over a judgment call?

He then grinned and pointed at my feet. My right shoe was untied. I thanked him for the correction and said, "Stalling on the ref. Next one is a point for both wrestlers."

I hate to think what would have happened if we got to the point where they both had next choice of position...
