Nobody argues that the boys divisions aren't watered down, but it would be interesting to see what the participation numbers are since the divisions split from 3 to what they are now. Also, comparing WA and CA, our girls do just fine. California has more than 5x our population of HS students, yet based on the Flowrestling national rankings, WA has 23 girls ranked in the top 30 compared to California's 42. I would say our girls are doing great. The state of WA is doing something right regarding the growth of girls' wrestling so let's keep it going!
