We knew dividing the girls would water it down for a couple years. Girls numbers increased by over 600 I believe this year. It’s not slowing down. In 2-3 years these numbers will be back to last years levels. Lower weights are full at least in our district. 14-16 girl brackets at districts. Some mid weights and upper weights lacked depth with only 4-6 girls in brackets. But is it the right thing to not split and lower weight girls gotta battle it out with 32+ girls in their bracket while upper weights still only have 10-15 girls. Upper weights have always been an issue. 100-125 lbs is really competitive when all together. I believe every weight will still look tough when it comes to state placers. There will be a few girls that would not have placed if combined but your top 4-6 will be tough
