I wanted to have him on our ORCA dual team that year but his shoulder was gone. I get it. A phenomenal athlete and he has done well in life.

His family lived across the street from me in Everett for several years before they moved to Arlington. I don't remember if Blake was born then or later but I think his oldest brother used to go with my oldest son to wrestling practice at Snohomish in the early 90's before we started Jonny at USA Everett. His dad's sheetrock company did the sheetrock in my home addition 20 some years ago. Small world.
