I’m admittedly slow so beat me over the head if you must…. I lack understanding why two regions instead of four isn’t contemplated? 4 out of each district to regionals, but then 8 advancing to state. The best teams and wrestlers would all be represented at state.

Also, 3 out of any district vs 4 should never be a consideration. Districts with the elite wrestling programs in it take away opportunities for other, potential top 8 kids.
