You are right that an "average" D1 wrestler would kick you but just as fast as Jordan Burroughs would. You probably couldn't tell the difference between the two until the D1 guy wrestled Burroughs and then you could see it. Every sport has different levels that are not always that noticeable to the untrained eye. That 1-2% difference at the top can still lead to winning almost every time, as we have seen in Burroughs career.
