Well the above post might have something to do with Flathead HS supposedly coming in attendance to Gbutt Check. Coach Thompson did express interest in attending but couldn’t make it. Gbutt staff knew a few months before hand that they weren’t coming to the Gbutt. I know the grandmaster bracket builder had sold the Braves on being in the tourney, and they would have been a good find, but they couldn’t travel all the way to the Gbutt. Thompson also stated that they were sold Lake Highland Prep of Florida coming and that’s one reason they entertained coming to the Gbutt. It seems Lake Highland didn’t want to enter the Gbutt either.
