I agree with that. Those are two things that definitely where changed for the better. We have had a few changes over the past few years that got rid of some archaic rules. USAW has lead the way on many of those changes with the requirement of singlet weigh ins and no hair regulations a number of years ago. Glad to see the NFHS following suit. Now if they can just drop the between bout wait times to something more like USAW to remove some issues towards the end of a tournament. NFHS is 45 minutes and USAW is 15 minutes. Maybe meet in the middle at 30 minutes?
