What happened is a lot of people weren’t taking jobs last year, so jobs were just handed over to whoever was willing.

A lot of coaches are happy to just to be there and aren’t trying to push a program forward or put in extra time for the kids and it cheats the kids. So we end up with kids transferring and then people complain about that.

No coach should be in position as a Head Coach of a Varsity program if they are going to take two weeks off in the heart of the season from competition. Just my two cents. Open more positions this year and see if someone takes the job if not you hire an interim, see if you can find the right coach that will do right by the kids.
