I think there are always overzealous parents at the beginning of the year. Rankings here are not considered for most tournaments or post season, they are really just entertainment like fantasy football. We don't know many kids weights yet, if there were transfers or kids quit/got injured. Starting with how last year ended makes perfect sense until there has been at least a few duels and tournaments to base changes off of. We haven't even had the first practice yet, so deep breath in. All the rankers put serious time and effort in during the season for your enjoyment and there is plenty of time to get worked up in a few weeks LOL.
